The Brief

Working closely with Mandarin Oriental as their dedicated PR partner in the Oceania region, our campaigns have focused on raising awareness of the hotels, spas and restaurants among Australian media, influencers and discerning travellers, positioning the Group's properties as the epitome of luxury.


One such campaign was promoting Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong’s 50th Anniversary. Our brief was to deliver a strategic media relations campaign that celebrated the milestone anniversary and secure top-tier media to travel to Hong Kong as a guest of Mandarin Oriental for an exclusive famil.

The Strategy

  • Position the property as top tier luxury accommodation in Hong Kong

  • Work with Hong Kong Tourism Board to secure flight support

  • Invite a group of top tier media to travel to Hong Kong for the 50th Anniversary celebration

  • Arrange an immersive and enticing itinerary exploring Hong Kong with the flagship Mandarin Oriental property and the 50th anniversary celebrations at the centre

  • Host media guests to the famil and event

  • Targeted media pitching and story placements celebrating the history and story of the brand
